Vote for Alexandra Park BEFORE noon on Monday!

Alexandra Park is in the running to be the UK’s Best Park 2019!

The park has been nominated in the Fields in Trust awards. The UK’s Best Park celebrates the parks and green spaces which are the ‘green lungs’ of our communities says the organisation.

Fields in Trust says: “Do you love your local park? Is it a place your community comes together? Perhaps it is a place to unwind, somewhere to go for a run or play sport, or a space to explore with the kids. Whatever the reason your local green space is special to you, celebrate it.

Alexandra Park in the running for another top award – you can make the difference by voting now.

Alexandra Park along with St Leonards Gardens and Hastings Country Park were recognised earlier this year by the Green Flag Award Scheme as some of the very best in the world.

The three sites were among a record-breaking 1,970 UK parks and green spaces and 131 in 13 other countries around the world that received a prestigious Green Flag Award – the mark of a quality park.

Hastings MP Amber Rudd said: “It’s great to see our beautiful Alexandra Park nominated for this award.”
