IN VIDEO – ‘The wrestling business has been good to me…’ Dominator bows out after 25 years

We first met Stu Allen, aka The Dominator, nearly two years ago.

He has spoken often about how he was captivated by professional wrestling when he was only six years old; by the colours and the movement, ‘…there was something different, something beautiful, something artistic,’ he says.

He knew then that was what he wanted to do with his life. He learned his craft the hard way travelling to the US to train with the world renowned innovator Adrian Street. He has gone on to wrestle all over the world while at the same time running one of the UK’s most successful wrestling promotions from here in Hastings.

Last month he decided it was time to retire his in ring persona, The Dominator, saying he knew the time was right to bow out. In this interview he talks with Stuart Baillie about his career and its challenges, the characters he’s met, the fun he’s had and about his hopes and aspirations for the company he founded Extreme World Wrestling or simply EWW.
